I was delighted when I was asked to give a talk today on International Women's Day at Manor Care Home in Henley on Thames.
It was the first talk I’ve given to talk about my art story. After watching lots of Ted talks on the topic of public speaking over the weekend I think I got the hang of it just in time!
The residents seem to enjoy listening about my art story and found it inspiring.
I stayed for a while after to have a chat and enjoy cup of tea and some cake.
I received a lot of positive feedback and they all were asking questions at the end. I’m very grateful to have to have been able to share my experience with such lovely people.
